THE PRESIDIUM
Chairman
Marina Lebedeva
Good afternoon, future delegates
Despite the fact that the work of our committee has not yet begun, I would like to note its important role in modern realities, when the protection of rights sometimes occupies a primary place.
This agenda raises an issue that many in our rapidly developing world do not think about, thereby provoking and encouraging the destruction of indigenous peoples' habitats.
Therefore, I wish you good luck in finding successful solutions to this problem!

Co-Chairman
Polina Ivankina
I am glad to welcome all future participants of the XIII IMO! I am Polina Ivankina, Co-chairman of the HRC Committee. As part of our agenda "Protecting the rights of indigenous peoples in the context of resource extraction and development projects", I invite each of you to take an active part in the debate, to be as involved and constructive as possible.
Understanding our agenda requires taking into account many aspects, keep this in mind.
I believe that the atmosphere in our committee will be friendly!
See you on the model!
