An international structure that unites the efforts of States in the fields of education, science, culture and communications. It is a strategic platform for developing initiatives to preserve cultural heritage, stimulate scientific progress and support humanitarian values. UNESCO delegates form programs that influence the long-term development of societies, as well as strengthen mutual understanding between countries through the exchange of knowledge and cultural practices.

My name is Anna Smagina and I am the Chairman of the UNESCO Committee. I was once a delegate to this committee myself, as a school student, so it is with great joy and pride that I return to UNESCO, but as a member of the presidium. Although at first glance the agenda is quite unambiguous, knowing our committee, the guys will be able to give us heated discussions and debates! We are looking forward to the start of the meetings and will be glad to see everyone at UNESCO!

The UNESCO Committee for School Students is a good start in the modeling movement for children who can try themselves as a delegate, and maybe further connect their lives with diplomacy and international relations.
I think we have a fairly relevant agenda that allows us to discuss current issues related to media and information literacy, and in this environment it will be important for all of us to learn something useful!
I would like to wish the guys to be active, diplomatic and not be afraid to speak in public and defend their positions. The Model UN is a great opportunity to prove yourself and see how the model "kitchen" works from the inside!

Greetings everyone, my name is Daria Pyannikova. I've been in the modeling movement for 4 years now, and I've participated as a big model. I am also currently the Minister of International and Foreign Economic Relations under the Youth Government of the Sverdlovsk Region. This year I am acting as an expert of the UNESCO Committee.
